A whole year of Tab Plus costs about what two months of Splitwise Pro do.
Hosted plans aren't open yet. These are the prices they'll open at. How many bills each plan reads a month will be published here before anyone can sign up.

Free, forever.
Everything Tab does, on your own computer or server. Want it to read your bills? Add your own AI key and pay the AI company directly.
Hosted free
$0. No card needed.
Everything except bill reading, hosted by us. Want bill reading? Add your own AI key, same as running it yourself.
Plus
$10 a year.
Tab reads your bills for you. Forward them to your own Tab address, snap a receipt, or upload a PDF. Have as many groups as you like (a house, a club, a trip), all on one plan.
Pro
$24 a year.
For landlords and anyone billing other households. Everything in Plus, and: see what each household owes you (or you owe them) in one place, pay back repair costs from there, and split one bill across several properties. Your households don't pay anything.

Every new account gets 3 months of Plus, free. No card needed. When it's up, your account goes back to free unless you ask for more.
Trial bill reading is best-effort: a smaller monthly limit, and members' bills are read first, so yours may take a little longer.
Want more? Just ask. We'll ask you one question, like what you use Tab for, and add 6 more months. Ask again when those run out. Later we might ask whether you'd write a few words about Tab that we can share. It doesn't have to be nice, and if we share it, we'll say you got free months.
If you read a lot of bills
Plus and Pro members get a much higher monthly limit than the trial, far more than a busy household needs, and their bills are read first. We tell you before you reach it. If you do, bill reading pauses until next month. You can still type expenses in yourself, and nothing else stops.
We never charge extra. There's no meter and no surprise bill.
Bring a friend, get free months
Share your link. For each person who joins:
- 1 month of Plus when they sign up,
- 3 more months if they get Plus,
- a whole year if they get Pro.
Already paying? Your next renewal just moves back. Sign-up months top out at 12 a year; the others don't.
Give someone half a year
Once a year, Plus and Pro members can give someone 6 months of Plus. They don't need a card, and when the 6 months are up, their account goes back to free. Nothing renews, and nobody gets charged.
Why it costs this little
Reading a bill with AI costs us a fraction of a cent, and Tab receives your forwarded bills itself, with no email company in the middle. What actually costs money is the server and the fee on each payment. The prices cover those, not a big margin. We charge once a year so that payment fee doesn't eat a small price.
Tab is also free software. If a plan doesn't suit you, you can run the same thing yourself, for free, with your data.
